Everything was absolutely perfect. The location was fantastic for exploring the island. The room was very clean, spacious, and quiet. The breakfast was fresh, delicious, and made with local and homemade ingredients. The care and attention from the hosts made me feel loved and at home. I cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you for making my holiday so special!

Loved Ribeira Grande, the hotel was beautiful close to the town center. The villa was beautifully decorated and reasonably large with terrace. Hair dryers, guest toiletries, and towels was a plus. The location was favourable and fantastic, near to restaurants and oceanfront and the main attractions of Sao Miguel and the ocean and main square in ribera.

In our bright room, there was a super comfy bed and a pretty clean bathroom. the location is perfect, right near the square, and you can easily walk to restaurants and shops 🏞️.

The room with a terrace, a shower, hair dryers, and a bidet were great additions, and the property's central location was convenient.

We recently stayed at Matriz Guest House for 2 days in Ribeira Grande. Rossana and Eduardo, the super friendly hosts, made us feel right at home. The breakfast was absolutely delicious with homemade organic jams and tasty cakes. Our spacious bedroom had breathtaking 270-degree views of the sea and mountains. The location was perfect for exploring the entire island, with convenient free parking on the street. Rossana's Matrix Guest House is highly recommended for a fantastic stay in Ribeira Grande.
